Murdoch seems to want to live in a country with a strong identity or in a country with salient idiosyncrasies or whatnot.

Vietnam,Cambodia,South Africa,New Zealand, Australia, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, 

Murdoch doesn't seem to be using the economic freedom index to choose locations he sighed back in 2015 and or 2017. He seems to have choose locations he had "digged" back then rather arbitrarily.

In 2015 & or 2017, Murdoch seemingly had a desire to seek out freebies.

Locations to Visit-

Portland Oregon,Seattle Washington,Mount Rushmore, Jim Morrison Hotel,Celebrity Sepulchers,Canada,

Murdoch might have had a hippie artist bias for the places he wanted to visit besides that of  Mount Rushmore being more of a situational FOMO situation where he was unable to go once so thereafter he had a desire to visit Mount Rushmore.

Would like to live in van & pay gym membership to save money on room & board or avoid renting a apartment and vouching to stay in the dorm instead,
